The Bias Source of Information

Image
THE LONE WOLF  I found that the Northern Public Affairs is not a good source. An article was written from one side's point of view. The topic very subjective. I found the writing to be bias repeating things. Speaking mainly to certain audiences to stress their own points of interest, pressing on the negatives points to the listener. The listener is unable to digest and discern for themselves if the topic of conversation is anything other a source trying to push their opinion at whatever cost, or a fact that needs to be digested carefully. There were no citations to support the topic of interest, in this case Indigenous Studies.

The Reliable CBC Network

CBC is a station that I have come to like and trust. CBC provides the dates, and citations that come with each publication. It is a Crown Corporation, that has been a reliable source of information for last 80 years . You can find the name of the reporter and the date of the post above the story. I don't feel the publications have a bias opinion, they are very objective. With the thought that they speak out to different cultures, sport minded, music lovers and people from different age groups. What I mean is not only do they deliver information, they offer hyper-links to news, games, tv shows, and audio books for your entertainment. If you need to be enlighten as what is happening around you, tune into the Canadian Broadcast Corporation .

I have learned to communicate by writing, only because I am able to express my message clearly to those who I converse with, especially at work and stores. These are both ways I prefer to communicate. I can now use devices used in language like similes and even metaphors can be effective when communicating orally or written. I can see how this would work well in getting my point across to my audience whether it be clients, family or friends. Now that I am taking this English Course, I am hoping to get better communication skills. If...
